9-Day -Northern Circuit Route

~Seeing the Roof of Africa through New Eyes~

Why Northern Circuit Route?

Climbing Kilimanjaro via the Northern Circuit Route offers an unparalleled trekking experience for avid adventurers. As the longest and one of the newest paths to the summit, it provides an extended and immersive journey with exceptional scenic beauty and high success rates. The 9-day itinerary allows for ample acclimatization, crucial for a safe and successful climb. The Northern Circuit incorporates the best of the Lemosho route, taking trekkers off the beaten path and along the rarely visited northern trail. This route is ideal for older individuals, children, and those with minimal mountain experience, as it provides more time to adapt to low oxygen levels. The trek ascends the tranquil western slope and crosses nearly the entire mountain, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful journey with minimal crowds. The Northern Circuit Route is a truly unique and unforgettable way to reach Africa’s highest point. It is only route that provides an opportunity of the client car into the forest for almost 45 before the trek begins.

N.B:
Please note that the 9 days mentioned refer to the actual trekking days on the mountain. In addition, you need to account for 2 extra days—one for arrival and one for departure—making the total trip 11 days.

After completing customs formalities, you will proceed to the arrival area, where an Eagle Vision Safaris driver will be waiting with a sign displaying your booking name. After ensuring you have all your belongings, the driver will transfer you to your hotel or lodge. A rest day is recommended for jet lag recovery and acclimatization, along with a pre-trek briefing and gear check.
